Why moving boxes get lost in the shuffle

Create a location for each room in the new house, then create one container per box. Add items as you pack. It takes seconds per item and you can type or dictate.
Print labels in batches and stick them on two sides of every box. Movers can stack boxes any way and you can still scan from the side.
Unpacking without the guesswork
Search for any item and QRcontents shows the exact box and room. If you move a box to the basement or a storage unit off Kietzke, scan the box and then scan the new spot.
Once a box is empty you can archive it, or reuse it for seasonal storage. The label never needs reprinting.
